Latest News About School Holidays in Punjab Notification has been Announced on 16 November 2024. On November 12, 2024, the Punjabi government’s School Education Department released a notification regarding the holidays that would be observed in all Punjab government schools and colleges (interim) starting on November 13, 2024. According to the notification, the higher secondary schools will also stay closed. We are still awaiting the Colleges (Inter Classes) Notification.
Punjab Govt Holiday Notification Today 2024
Imran Hamid Sheikh, the director general of environment, issued the directive, which names schools in the divisions of Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, and Sahiwal. From November 13 to 17, all educational establishments, including academies and tuition centers, will be closed from kindergarten through grade 12.

Notification About Smog Holidays
With effect from November 13, 2024 (Wednesday), all educational institutions, including public and private tuition centers up to Higher Secondary Level (12th Grade/A-level), within the territorial jurisdictions of DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Sargodha, and Rawalpindi Divisions, shall remain closed and transition to online mode until November 17, 2024,” the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced in the notification.

Punjab Closes Schools Across Province Until Nov 17
Due to the current smog conditions and decreased visibility, as per the order dated 12-11-2024 of the Director General Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Government of Punjab, and in continuation of this department’s previous notifications dated 03-11-2024 and 06-11-2024, it is hereby notified that all public and private educational institutions, including private tuition centers up to Higher Secondary level (12th Grade), in the Province of the Punjab will remain closed starting on Tuesday, November 13, 2024, until Sunday, November 17, 2024, and will transition to an online model.
